About the Role

As a Geo-Environmental Consultant within TRC's UK business, you will support project delivery across a range of environmental services including due diligence, contaminated land investigation and remediation, geotechnical investigation, environmental planning and permitting, EHS management, and energy use reporting. This role is ideal for an early career professional experienced in desk-based assessments and site investigations. You will supervise site investigations, oversee drilling and trial pitting contractors, log data to British Standards and Eurocode, perform field testing and sampling, and prepare Tier 1 and Tier 2 reports including preliminary risk assessments. Experience
- Early career professional with experience in desk-based assessments and site investigations.
- Supervision of site investigations including drilling, trial pitting, logging, field testing, sampling, groundwater and ground gas monitoring.
- Experience with environmental and geotechnical laboratory analysis and reporting.
- Experience using geographical information systems (GIS) is desirable.

- Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the UK and occasionally overseas.
- Holds a full UK driving license and valid passport.

Qualifications
- BSc or higher degree in geology, geo-environmental, geotechnical engineering, or related discipline; postgraduate qualification (e.g. MSc) preferred.
- Understanding of relevant contaminated land guidance including LCRM, NHBC, CIRIA, Eurocode, and British Standards.
- Knowledge of geotechnical software packages such as Slide, PDisp, XDisp, Settle3D, RocLab, Open Ground, FEM software or similar is desirable.
