About the Role
As a Graduate Environmental Advisor, you will support the Section HSEQ Manager to ensure all environmental, consents, and sustainability matters are effectively implemented in line with the HSEQ Management Plan. You will be an integral part of the HSEQ and Compliance Teams, providing advice and guidance to the Operational Team to facilitate compliant construction activities. Your role will involve monitoring, producing, and implementing permits and consents where required, as well as enforcing environmental construction compliance policies and procedures. You will assist with regular reporting and conduct site visits to ensure controls are applied through auditing processes. Working on the Cadent Gas Construction Management Organisation (CMO), you will help deliver gas main replacement (MRP) and non-mains replacement (NMRP) works while protecting the environment from harm. Additionally, you will update progress and improvements related to the Annual Work Stack Plan and maintain the legal register and legislative changes concerning environmental aspects.
Experience
- Excellent organisation and communication skills, including presenting
- Good computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Ability to understand data and act upon non-compliant issues
- Experience liaising with client and customer stakeholders, both internal and external

Qualifications
- Degree level qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- Affiliate or Graduate IEMA membership preferred or willingness to obtain within 12 months
