About the Role
Do you want to work in a role where you can make a real difference to people at risk of living in fuel poverty? Are you a caring and friendly person passionate about helping vulnerable households? Join the Green Doctor team at Groundwork London, a not-for-profit organisation that has supported vulnerable people for over 19 years. Working alongside Local Authorities and Housing Associations, you will deliver home visits and telephone support to advise on energy saving and money-saving measures in the home, install energy-saving products, and assist households in applying for grants.

Additional duties include representing the team at local events organised by various organisations and participating in regular training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in energy saving and retrofitting.

In return, you will receive an Employee Health Care Cash Plan, ongoing training and development with qualifications in energy saving and retrofitting, a Green Doctor van/car for travel to home visits, and an employer contribution pension scheme.

Experience
Relevant experience in energy efficiency or related roles is valued. Basic practical DIY skills such as changing light bulbs and using basic tools (hammer, screwdriver) are required.

You are a people-person with a passion for helping vulnerable individuals. You can adapt your approach to meet varying client needs and are comfortable working alone while effectively managing your own workload.

Qualifications
Ideally hold qualifications such as Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA), NVQ Level 3 (6049-03) Provide Energy Efficiency Services, or City and Guilds Energy Awareness (6281-01). However, relevant experience in the field will also be considered.
A full clean driving licence is essential.
