About the Role
Groundwork London is a leading social and environmental regeneration charity delivering over 500 projects annually focused on education, skills development, employment, environmental impact reduction, and community engagement. For nearly 25 years, Groundwork’s Green Teams have provided hundreds of unemployed Londoners with their first work experience in grounds maintenance and horticulture. These teams are central to several employment programmes and new landscaping and sustainable urban drainage projects.

We are seeking a Green Team Supervisor to lead teams of up to four trainees, overseeing and participating in the delivery of grounds maintenance, horticultural, and landscaping contracts. Work includes maintenance of domestic gardens for vulnerable residents, public open spaces, historic gardens, community green spaces, and allotments.

The role involves liaising with clients, supporting the Green Team Programme Manager in developing new contracts and relationships, and ensuring trainees gain valuable skills and experience to progress into horticulture and green space careers.

Experience
- Proven track record in delivering gardening and grounds maintenance contracts.
- Ability to lead a small team effectively, placing trainees at the heart of service delivery and supporting their career progression.

Qualifications
