About the Role
Dacorum is a vibrant and green borough, home to Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted and Tring, with a strong focus on business, enterprise and community ambition. As Greenspaces and Projects Manager, you will take a varied and pivotal leadership role within the Neighbourhood Delivery Service, which is central to enhancing quality of life for residents. You will lead teams responsible for managing trees, woodland, parks and open spaces development, including the delivery and development of Suitable Alternative Natural Greenspace (SANG) sites within the borough.
Key priorities include leading the implementation of the Council’s new Parking Solutions Policy and capital programme, championing biodiversity and Nature Recovery, and taking the lead on the Future Neighbourhoods initiative, an engagement project aimed at improving the environment for residents and businesses.
This role requires a collaborative and innovative approach to service improvement, working across services and with partners to deliver efficiencies, new delivery models and enhanced customer experiences. You will be instrumental in shaping a cleaner, greener and safer borough, bringing strategic leadership and a creative, enthusiastic mindset to the organisation.
Experience
Proven experience in delivering high-profile frontline services and site management. Strong project and programme management skills. Experience working closely with internal and external stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications
