About the Role
Join the Grounds Maintenance Team at London and Quadrant Housing Trust (L&Q) as a Static Gardener/Grounds Maintenance Operative. This role involves maintaining gardens and green spaces across various schemes in East London. You will be responsible for mowing and lawn care, planting and aftercare, pruning and hedge cutting, weeding and border maintenance, and general landscaping upkeep. The role requires the use of horticultural machinery including pedestrian mowers, hedge cutters, strimmers, and backpack blowers. You will also be involved in pesticide application (PA1 & PA6) and working collaboratively as part of a team. Experience
- Horticultural experience with good plant knowledge is essential.
- Experience in hedging, lawns, shrubs, and perennials is highly desirable.

- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- IT literate.
- Holds a valid driving license (disabled license acceptable).
