About the Role
London and South East Colleges (LSEC) is seeking a Group Sustainability Manager to lead, coordinate and deliver the Group's sustainability and Carbon Net Zero agenda across both LSEC and London South East Academies Trust (LSEAT). This pivotal role will drive strategic alignment with national and local sustainability commitments, support the Group's net zero ambitions, and enhance environmental, social, and economic outcomes across the estate, operations, and curriculum. The role holder will act as a subject matter expert, embedding sustainability principles into the organisation's culture, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and maximising opportunities for innovation, funding, and partnerships. While there are currently no direct line management responsibilities, significant cross-functional collaboration and influence are required. This is a Group role spanning multiple sites, and flexibility to travel is essential. The role may evolve to include line management responsibilities as the sustainability function develops.
