About the Role
At Environment Bank, we’re dedicated to restoring natural habitats across England. As a Habitat Delivery Specialist in the Habitat Creation and Management team, you will be responsible for delivering habitat creation and enhancement projects safely, on-time, and within budget. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking applied ecologist or conservationist with practical skills in creating and managing habitats. You will collaborate closely with our ecologists and land managers to plan and execute habitat creation works, including the enhancement of various habitats such as woodland, scrub, species-rich grassland, and wetlands. Your involvement will extend across our national nature network, managing the success of habitat banks as they develop. Key responsibilities include reviewing ecology designs, writing management plans, providing activity schedules, and managing contractor performance on-site.

Experience
Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent work experience. Knowledge of habitat creation/restoration and management principles. A track record of delivering nature recovery projects. Experience working within a budget and timeframe. Experience working directly with farmers and/or landowners in a professional capacity. Experience working with contractors.

About You
Desirable qualifications include a Health and Safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH/IOSH). A full UK clean driving license and willingness to travel for regional site visits and events.
