About the Role
Norfolk Wildlife Trust's Nature Recovery team is seeking a Head of Nature Economy and Business Development to develop and deliver an integrated advisory offer focused on nature economy markets and to grow our ecological consultancy. This role will ensure the consultancy continues to provide a vital income stream for the Trust. You will lead Norfolk Wildlife Services, our consultancy business offering professional ecological and arboricultural services, with profits reinvested to support the Trust’s conservation work. This dynamic position will help scale up nature recovery efforts, increasing the area of land managed and restored for nature across Norfolk, contributing to the national Wildlife Trusts’ goal of managing 30% of the UK’s land and sea for nature by 2030. You will also spearhead the Trust’s engagement with the emerging nature economy, unlocking diverse private investment opportunities to enable large-scale nature recovery. Experience
Proven experience in business development, ecological consultancy, or related fields, ideally with knowledge of nature economy markets and environmental finance.

Strategic and innovative thinker with strong leadership skills. Passionate about nature recovery and environmental sustainability. Able to build and maintain partnerships and engage diverse stakeholders. Excellent communication and project management skills.
Qualifications
A relevant degree or equivalent experience in ecology, environmental science, business development, or related disciplines is desirable.
