We are seeking a proactive and growth-oriented HSE professional to join us as our Health, Safety & Environment Manager at Griffin Brewery. This pivotal role comes at an exciting time of review and transformation across our operations. You will be instrumental in shaping and implementing new HSE strategies, policies, and systems that embed a culture of safety and continuous improvement throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of a refreshed HSE strategy and improvement plan
- Drive engagement with employees and senior stakeholders to build a strong safety-first culture
- Review and modernise existing HSE policies, procedures, and systems in line with legislative and ISO standards
- Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations, ensuring effective root cause analysis and follow-through
- Coordinate training and upskilling to empower teams with best practices in HSE
- Lead initiatives to proactively manage environmental risks and responsibilities
- Act as the key contact for HSE matters, providing expert advice and support across all levels of the business
Experience
- Proven experience in Health, Safety & Environment management, preferably within FMCG, logistics, warehousing, or multi-site environments
- Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and practical implementation experience
- Experience with ISO management systems and conducting internal and external audits
- Demonstrated ability to engage, influence, and support stakeholders at all levels
- Confidence to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally

Qualifications
- NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum) required
