About the Role

As the Health, Safety & Environmental Site Manager, you will manage the delivery of all HSE activities across a manufacturing facility or commercial areas including offices, sales, and warehouses. Your responsibilities will include overseeing standards and procedures, capability processes, reporting, compliance, and audits to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
You will define and review applicable standards and legislation for the site, validate HSE design aspects in projects and modifications, and support defined work processes such as the IIM pillar to enhance HSE application and effectiveness. Additionally, you will map all relevant legislation and internal standards, ensure ongoing compliance, and manage relationships with the legal department and local authorities. Maintaining all HSE regulatory requirements for the plant will be a key part of your role.
Key contributions include coordinating the implementation of all HSE programs and processes, preparing and building consensus on annual plans for facility-wide HSE initiatives, and planning, budgeting, and controlling the annual capital budget for HSE to enable execution of the HSE plan and adherence to compliance standards. You will provide HSE expertise for all new projects and change management activities, ensure appropriate risk assessments are conducted with follow-ups to minimize accidents and asset losses, and ensure the right talent is in place through training, mentoring, and succession planning.
You will also ensure the facility complies with company and governmental/community regulations, and that training and coaching are delivered to drive a safety-perfect culture with well-understood safety standards throughout the plant organization.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Health, Safety and Environment Practitioner, preferably within a manufacturing or commercial environment
- Demonstrated experience managing teams, change management, and project management
- Strong Health and Safety audit experience
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills with stakeholders at all levels

Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in Health, Safety, and Environment or equivalent experience preferred
- Knowledge of applicable legislation and internal standards related to HSE compliance
