About the Role
We are seeking experienced housing professionals to provide a front-line housing management service to residents in sheltered accommodation, primarily supporting tenants over 55 years old. This role involves tenancy management, including viewings, sign-ups, and sustaining tenancies. You will maintain tenant records using the housing management system and offer signposting and referral support to external agencies. Additional responsibilities include providing basic benefit and income maximisation advice, conducting weekly health and safety checks (fire detection, emergency lighting), site inspections, safeguarding referrals, and reporting accidents or incidents. You will carry out tenant welfare checks, facilitate tenant meetings, liaise with external agencies to support tenancy sustainment, and report communal and dwelling repairs. Collaboration with colleagues to ensure the site is maintained to a safe and acceptable standard is essential, including monitoring repairs, cleaning, and grounds maintenance.
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar housing service or tenancy management role
- Experience working with over 55s or in sheltered housing
- Knowledge of housing management systems
- Familiarity with health and safety standards and inspections
- Experience conducting welfare checks, tenant meetings, and tenancy sustainment
- Ability to liaise effectively with external agencies and internal teams

Qualifications
