Hours
Full Time - 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00 with flexibility required to meet operational demands.

About the Role
As the UK's largest ports operator, ABP plays a vital role in the UK economy, handling around one quarter of the nation's seaborne trade. We are seeking a proactive and passionate HS&E Advisor to join our Humber Region team. This role offers the opportunity to influence and maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental performance across diverse operations. You will work collaboratively within a dedicated HS&E team, supporting operational, engineering, marine, and security functions to embed a strong safety culture, ensure legal and internal compliance, and drive continuous improvement across multiple sites. Key responsibilities include providing professional HS&E advice and coaching, supporting the implementation of ABP's HS&E strategy and systems, conducting audits and inspections, facilitating HS&E committees and engagement campaigns, assisting with incident investigations, and monitoring HS&E performance data. You will stay up to date with legislation and best practices to ensure ABP remains at the forefront of health, safety, and environmental standards.

Experience
- NEBOSH General Certificate essential; NEBOSH Diploma desirable.
- Experience in port or heavy industry environments preferred.
- Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Confident in using IT systems and e-learning platforms.
