BEUMER Group is a global leader in engineering and manufacturing high-tech intralogistic systems, delivering innovative solutions worldwide. We are seeking an HSE Advisor to join our UK team. This role is suitable for experienced HSE professionals or those looking to progress their career in health, safety, and environmental management. You will work closely with management and employees to develop and implement effective HSE strategies, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with statutory duties and company standards.

Key responsibilities include advising and assisting managers and teams on health and safety matters, conducting regular site inspections and assessments, investigating accidents and incidents, supporting compliance with legal registers, and maintaining records aligned with global reporting requirements. You will also chair and advise on H&S working groups and committees, prepare and review documentation for audits and accreditations, and deliver HSE training and toolbox talks.

Additional duties involve providing guidance on risk assessments and method statements, advising on construction-related CDM regulations, supporting facilities and workplace management with statutory H&S and environmental requirements including waste management, assisting overseas colleagues with UK compliance, embedding within projects and maintenance contracts as the site HSE Advisor, and managing subcontractor compliance.

This role requires a proactive approach to fostering a safe working environment and supporting continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental standards across the organisation.

Experience
- Experience working in construction is preferred.
- Experience with automation systems is preferred.
- Experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards is preferred.
- Environmental management experience is desirable.

Qualifications
- Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate (NEBOSH Construction Certificate preferred if working on site installation).
- Minimum TechIOSH membership.
- Valid CSCS card relevant to qualifications.
- Desired: SSSTS certification (SMSTS preferred).
- Train the Trainer qualification is an advantage.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Commitment to ongoing CPD in line with IOSH requirements.
