About the Role
As our Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Advisor, you will be the driving force behind creating a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. Combining technical expertise with a hands-on approach, you will guide, support, and inspire teams to meet and exceed HSE standards. Your responsibilities will include shaping strategy, leading audits, engaging employees, and driving cultural change to ensure compliance, minimise risk, and foster continuous improvement. You will maintain the HSE management system to achieve continuous certification to international standards such as ISO14001 and ISO45001, lead internal and external audits, and support supplier HSE management processes. Collaborating with managers, you will provide technical advice, ensure prompt action on HSE obligations, identify and mitigate risks, and oversee occupational health and environmental monitoring. You will also manage accident and incident reporting and investigations to promote organisational learning and prevent recurrence. Experience
- Proven experience in health, safety, and environmental management within engineering, manufacturing, or similar technical environments is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience leading audits, investigations, and improvement projects.
- Skilled in identifying risks, implementing solutions, and ensuring compliance with UK legislation and ISO standards.

Qualifications
- Qualified in health, safety, and environmental management (NEBOSH, IOSH, IEMA) or equivalent experience demonstrating capability.
