About the Role
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Limited is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor with extensive knowledge of Wind Turbine construction to support the safe execution of upcoming Offshore Wind Farm Projects. The HSE Advisor will coordinate with internal workforce and external contractors to ensure a suitable and sufficient Safe System of Work is in place before works commence and liaise with site supervisors to monitor adherence during execution. This role ensures compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety legislation, SGRE standards, customer, and site requirements.

Key responsibilities include supporting site management to discharge their duties in line with procedures and legal regulations, monitoring site emergency preparedness, and ensuring effective pre-job planning by SGRE and contractors. The role promotes the use of Enablon as a reporting tool for safety observations and inspections, follows up on safety reports with appropriate investigations and corrective actions, and coordinates timely close out of CAPAs.

The HSE Advisor will analyze safety observations to identify trends and implement awareness schemes, attend planning and coordination meetings to ensure safe collaboration of works, conduct frequent site safety walks and formal inspections, and communicate with technical functions and HSE team members to share learning and develop guidelines. Participation in internal and external HSE audits and assessments is also required.

This position is field-based, requiring fitness to work offshore and comfort with working at height.

Experience
- Minimum five years' experience in an HSE role within the Wind Turbine construction or maintenance industry
- Proven ability to work as part of a cross-functional team

- Comfortable working offshore and at height
- Fit to work offshore and able to undertake rotational shifts
- Fluency in English is essential; secondary language skills are desirable
