About the Role
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Limited is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor with extensive knowledge of Wind Turbine construction to support the safe execution of upcoming Offshore Wind Farm Projects. The HSE Advisor will coordinate with internal workforce and external contractors to ensure suitable and sufficient Safe Systems of Work are in place prior to commencement and will liaise with site supervisors to monitor compliance during execution. This role ensures alignment with Environmental, Health and Safety legislation, Siemens Gamesa standards, customer, and site requirements.

Key responsibilities include supporting site management to discharge their duties in line with company procedures and local legal regulations, monitoring site emergency preparedness, and ensuring effective pre-job planning by SGRE and contractors. The role promotes the use of Enablon as a reporting tool for safety observations and proactive inspections, monitors follow-up actions, and ensures proportionate investigations and corrective/preventative actions are implemented.

The HSE Advisor will coordinate with action owners to achieve timely close out of CAPAs, analyze safety observations to identify trends, and implement awareness schemes or other appropriate actions. Attendance at planning and coordination meetings is required to ensure safe collaboration with other site operations. Frequent site safety walks and formal inspections will be performed, alongside communication and collaboration with technical functions and other HSE team members to share learning and develop guidelines. Participation in internal and external HSE audits and assessments is also expected.

This position is field-based and requires fitness to work offshore and comfort with working at height.

Experience
- Minimum five years' experience in an HSE role within the Wind Turbine construction or maintenance industry
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team

- Fluency in English

- Desirable: secondary language skills beyond English
