About the Role
Artifex Interior Systems Limited is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to develop and implement Health, Safety, Environmental & Sustainability best practices, ensuring compliance with current legislation, approved codes of practice, and guidance related to employment and service provision. You will work proactively with managers to establish and maintain safe systems of work and a safe environment for colleagues and visitors. This role supports the AGM to ensure the plant consistently meets Artifex's HSES requirements and complies with relevant standards and local legislative mandates through active engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

The HSE Manager will lead and coach the site team, providing guidance and support while gathering pertinent HSES data and reporting as necessary. Responsibilities include evaluating the effectiveness of site management systems, initiating corrective actions, implementing improvements, and ensuring local procedures align with Artifex Interior Systems requirements.

Main missions include supporting the HSES Director with action plans, meetings, and technical support; conducting internal audits against ISO14001, ISO45001, and ISO50001 standards; preparing HSE communications and alerts; tracking audit findings and corrective actions; accident and incident analysis including root cause investigations; managing improvement plans; document control; and supporting Health, Safety, Environmental & Sustainability committee meetings.

You will also be responsible for training and coaching the plant management team to maintain documented management systems compliant with ISO14001, ISO45001, and other relevant standards, supporting preparation for third-party audits, keeping updated on legislative changes, participating in management reviews, and promoting a culture of zero tolerance for HSE breaches. This role requires clear communication, leadership, and the ability to engage employees at all levels to address HSES concerns effectively.

Experience
- Previous experience in the automotive industry or production sector as an HSE Manager, Specialist, or Quality/HSE Engineer.
- Proven experience in document management ensuring compliance with standards.
- Familiarity with ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001, and ISO/IATF16949 standards.
- Experience conducting internal audits and managing corrective actions.
- Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent education in chemistry, machinery, mechanics, environment, health & safety, or related fields.
- Fluent in English.
- PC literate with proficiency in MS Office applications.
