About the Role
Would you like to take ownership to ensure the highest levels of health and safety in our organization? Are you excited to build safe, efficient and legally compliant environments for all occupants? Join our team at Baker Hughes Company, where Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) are integral to everything we do—from product design to planning and execution for our customers. Our goal is to make every day a Perfect HSE Day with no injuries, accidents, or harm to the environment.

As an HSE Manager, you will plan, manage, support, and monitor standards to ensure a safe and healthy environment is created and maintained, achieving legal compliance through a positive approach to sensible risk management. Your responsibilities will include analyzing HSE leading and lagging KPIs, implementing strategies to meet business HSE expectations, and driving risk mitigation projects, communication, and training.

You will implement company HSE priorities, metrics, goals, and requirements, introduce and establish programs, tools, and training to ensure compliance with legal requirements and full implementation of the Baker Hughes HSE Management System. Collaboration with other managers will be key to ensure sustainable program implementation and continuous improvement.

Providing technical expertise and compliance support to HSE professionals, you will ensure adherence to applicable regulations, assist in incident response, and mentor leadership to strengthen an interdependent HSE culture including Safe to Start and STOP work policies.

You will oversee the development, planning, implementation, updating, and auditing of the Company HSE Management System and maintain HSE certifications such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001. Serving as an HSE technical expert, you will support key activities including risk assessments, incident investigations, management of change, process safety, waste management, transportation safety, mechanical lifting, contractor management, and emergency planning.

Working closely with Field Service Engineers, you will provide HSE expertise and support to drive standards and training implementation to deliver results.
