As an HSE Manager, you will plan, manage, support, and monitor standards to ensure a safe and healthy environment is created and maintained, achieving legal compliance through a positive approach to sensible risk management. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and correlating HSE leading and lagging KPIs, implementing strategies to meet business HSE expectations, and driving programs, risk mitigation projects, communication, and training.
You will implement company HSE priorities, metrics, goals, and requirements, introduce and establish programs, tools, and training to ensure compliance with legal requirements and full implementation of the Baker Hughes HSE Management System. Collaborating with other managers, you will ensure sustainable program implementation with continuous improvement.
Providing technical expertise and compliance support to HSE professionals, you will assist in responding to significant incidents and government or customer requests. You will influence and mentor facilities leadership to strengthen an Interdependent HSE Culture, including Safe to Start and STOP work policies.
In accordance with corporate guidelines, you will develop, plan, implement, update, and audit the Company HSE Management System and maintain HSE certification such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001. You will serve as the HSE technical expert for key activities including risk assessments, incident investigation, management of change, process safety, waste management, transportation safety, drops, mechanical lifting, contractor management, emergency planning, and response.
Working closely with Field Service Engineers, you will provide HSE expertise and support to drive standards and specific training implementation to deliver results.

Experience
- Experience working within the HSE discipline and framework
- Experience in Manufacturing or Services facilities
- Good knowledge of current health, safety, and environmental UK regulations

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Relevant HSE certification such as NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent
- ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification
