About the Role
Would you like to take ownership to ensure the highest levels of health and safety in our organization? Are you excited to build safe, efficient and legally compliant environments for all occupants? Join our team at Baker Hughes Company, where Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) are integral to everything we do—from product design to planning and execution for our customers. Our goal is to make every day a Perfect HSE Day with no injuries, accidents, or harm to the environment.

As an HSE Manager, you will plan, manage, support, and monitor standards to ensure a safe and healthy environment is created and maintained, achieving legal compliance through a positive approach to sensible risk management. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and correlating HSE leading and lagging KPIs, implementing strategies to meet business HSE expectations, and driving programs, risk mitigation projects, communication, and training.

You will implement company HSE priorities, metrics, goals, and requirements, introduce and establish programs, tools, and training to ensure compliance with legal requirements, and fully implement the Baker Hughes HSE Management System. Collaboration with other managers to ensure sustainable program implementation and continuous improvement will be key.

Providing technical expertise and compliance support to HSE professionals, assisting in incident response, and mentoring leadership to strengthen an interdependent HSE culture are essential aspects of this role. You will oversee the development, planning, implementation, updating, and auditing of the HSE Management System at Brush Power Generation facilities, maintaining certifications such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.

Serving as the HSE technical expert, you will cover risk assessments, incident investigations, management of change, process safety, waste management, transportation safety, drops prevention, mechanical lifting, contractor management, and emergency planning and response. You will also work closely with Field Service Engineers to provide HSE expertise and support to drive standards and training implementation.

We recognize that everyone works differently and offer flexible working hours to help you be productive and maintain a healthy work-life balance. At Baker Hughes, our people are at the heart of what we do, and we invest in their development, well-being, and leadership growth.

Join us and benefit from contemporary work-life balance policies, comprehensive private medical care options, life insurance and disability programs, tailored financial programs, and additional voluntary benefits.
