About the Role

We are recruiting an HSE Manager to work at a prestigious workplace site in London. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering health and safety (H&S), food safety, and allergen performance indicators, conducting proactive and reactive audits, and supporting operational teams to foster a culture of safety.
You will maintain and implement bespoke HACCP systems aligned with Compass Global CPU standards and oversee the Compass Workplace Safety Management System to ensure consistent operational safety standards. Working closely with managers and key staff, you will develop and sustain continuous improvement programs for HSE management, including regular audits, inspections, risk assessments, and team training from CPU through to site delivery and customer consumption.
Your responsibilities will also include investigating food safety and safety incidents, liaising with enforcement agencies when required, and providing technical expertise to ensure compliance with regulatory, company, and accreditation requirements related to Health & Safety, Food Safety, Quality, and the Environment across CPU sites.
Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with site management teams, support the Sector Head of QHSE Manager in CPU and delivery sites developments, and partner with other health, safety, environmental, and quality professionals to ensure a consistent and effective approach to meeting HSE objectives.

Experience
Proven experience in health, safety, and food safety management within a complex operational environment is essential. Experience in delivering audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations is required.
About you
You are proactive, detail-oriented, and able to engage and coach teams to create a strong culture of safety. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and levels of management. You are confident in liaising with enforcement bodies and providing technical advice and support.
You are committed to continuous improvement and have a strong understanding of HACCP and workplace safety management systems.
Qualifications
Relevant health and safety qualifications and certifications are required. Knowledge of Compass Global CPU standards and HACCP systems is highly desirable. Additional qualifications related to food safety, quality, and environmental management will be advantageous.
