We are seeking a proactive HSE Business Partner/Manager to join our team and support business operations in maintaining and improving Health, Safety, Fire, and Environmental compliance. This role is key to ensuring best practices, driving compliance, and fostering a strong safety culture across our logistics operations.
You will be the first point of contact for HSE matters, providing expert guidance to facility management teams. Your responsibilities will include conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments across multiple sites to ensure compliance with legal and company standards. You will support operational teams with incident investigations, trend analysis, and continuous improvement recommendations. Staying current with legislation changes and advising on policy and system updates will be essential. Additionally, you will coach and mentor teams to embed a robust safety culture throughout the business.
Experience
Proven experience in a Health, Safety, Fire & Environmental role, ideally within logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing sectors.
About you
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive change. Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to compile accurate reports and effectively convey findings. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business use, as travel across the region will be required.
Qualifications
NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or an equivalent recognised certificate.
