About the Role
As an HSE Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the company. You will work closely with the management team to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in line with company standards and regulatory requirements, conducting regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions, investigating accidents and incidents with recommendations to prevent future occurrences, and conducting training and awareness programs for employees on HSE best practices. You will also maintain records of all incidents, accidents, and safety-related activities, liaise with relevant authorities to ensure compliance, monitor and report on the company's HSE performance, conduct risk assessments, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations.
Experience
Proven experience as an HSE Officer or in a similar role, demonstrating a strong track record in health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Detail-oriented and proactive professional with excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with management and employees to foster a culture of safety. Strong analytical skills to conduct risk assessments and develop effective risk management strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools. In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable in the UK.
