The HSE Operations Compliance Manager will lead the Health & Safety function across UK Operations, ensuring compliance with Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), Business Continuity, and Customer Audit requirements. This role manages a team of five EHS professionals across 14 UK sites, driving continuous improvement in safety and compliance practices while maintaining alignment with international standards and company policies.
Experience
- Strong working knowledge of ISO standards and auditing processes
- Demonstrable team management experience
- Solid understanding of UK EHS legislation and regulatory compliance requirements
- Experience leading and preparing for internal and external audits
- Proven ability to enforce policies and standards independently
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at executive level
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications

Qualifications
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (minimum NEBOSH General Certificate with relevant experience)
- Relevant degree in Health & Safety or related field preferred
- Lead Auditor qualification in ISO standards advantageous
Advantageous Experience
- Understanding of Quality Assurance (ISO 9001 or equivalent), Information Security (ISO 27001), and Business Continuity (ISO 22301) management systems
- Experience in critical infrastructure or high-reliability industries; data center experience advantageous but not essential
- Familiarity with standard Health & Safety concepts, practices, and procedures across a regional portfolio
- Experience managing contractor compliance and CDM regulations
- Engagement with enforcement bodies or regulatory agencies
