About the Role
This is a key strategic and tactical HSE role supporting the UKN business to successfully deliver HSE management for dedicated contracts across the portfolio. Reporting to the HSE UK & Nordic Regional Leader, you will apply comprehensive experience and knowledge in construction and design management, pre-phase HSE planning, and HSE management planning. You will implement safety procedures that comply with regulatory and industry standards, ensuring site performance meets targets and objectives. Responsibilities include being the primary contact for HSE counsel and guidance, creating and maintaining HSE plans and documents, enforcing Honeywell Life Safety Rules, building positive client relations, submitting HSE audits and inspections, managing corrective actions, risk mitigation and control, ensuring legal and industry safety standards are met, event reporting and investigation, delivering in-house training, inductions and toolbox talks, overseeing external subcontractors, tracking metrics, and supporting tender bid applications and submissions.

Experience
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience managing HSE within an operational environment
- Proven experience in HSE program and project development, implementation, and management in a construction environment
- Experience with HSE certifications, permits, and compliance
- Knowledge of construction, design, and management (CDM) regulations
- Experience in conducting HSE audits and inspections, corrective action management, and risk mitigation

Detail-oriented and proactive with strong leadership skills. Able to build positive client relationships and lead by example. Excellent communication skills for delivering training, inductions, and toolbox talks. Committed to enforcing safety standards and continuous improvement in HSE performance.
Qualifications
- OSHA or NEBOSH (or equivalent) certification required
- ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 internal auditor training desired
- Lead auditor certification is desirable
