About the Role
This is a key strategic and tactical HSE role supporting the UKN business to successfully deliver Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management across dedicated contracts within the portfolio. Reporting to the HSE UK & Nordic Regional Leader, you will leverage your comprehensive experience in construction and design management, pre-phase HSE planning, and HSE management planning to implement safety procedures that comply with regulatory and industry standards.
As the primary contact for counsel and guidance on HSE matters, you will be responsible for site performance and associated targets or objectives, leading by example to create and maintain HSE plans and documentation. You will enforce Honeywell Life Safety Rules, build positive client relationships, submit HSE audits and inspections, manage corrective actions, and oversee risk mitigation and control.
Additional responsibilities include ensuring legal and industry safety standards are met, event reporting and investigation, delivering in-house training, inductions and toolbox talks, managing HSE communications, overseeing external subcontractors, tracking key metrics, and supporting tender bid applications and submissions.

Experience
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience managing HSE within an operational environment.
- Proven experience in HSE program and project development, implementation, and management within a construction environment.
- Experience with HSE certifications, permits, and compliance.
- Knowledge of construction, design, and management (CDM) regulations.
- Experience conducting HSE audits and inspections.

Qualifications
- OSHA or NEBOSH (or equivalent) certification is required.

- Lead auditor certification is desirable.
