About the Role
Hitachi Energy is a global leader in providing innovative energy solutions that contribute to a sustainable and environmentally friendly future. We are seeking a motivated and dedicated HSE Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide specialist HSE advice and support to a portfolio of projects across the UK, helping to develop and maintain a positive HSE culture through engagement and auditing on multiple construction sites. This position requires a construction background and involves UK-wide travel. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

You will provide cost-effective HSE support and advice to tendering and project delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle. You will support the development of processes aligned with legislation, Group policies, and industry best practices. Additionally, you will conduct audits and inspections of projects and departmental processes to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement. You will also support HSE performance improvement strategies and campaigns linked to key business objectives and targets, both internally and through supply chain partners. Monthly HSE KPIs and management information will be produced for review and action by the Management Team.

Experience
- Proven HSE professional experience with project and construction exposure
- Experience in operation and management of business management systems

Qualifications
- Qualified to NEBOSH Construction level in HSE Management
