About the Role
Join Vestas Blades UK as part of our specialized HSE team and help shape a first-rate safety culture at our Isle of Wight facility. In this key role, you will support compliance, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate across teams to ensure health, safety, and environmental excellence. As a member of the HSE Team, you will ensure that Health, Safety & Environment is embedded in everything we do. You will positively shape the Vestas safety culture, continuously improve processes, and apply best practices and future technologies to help build a leading safety environment.
Your responsibilities will include providing HSE support to Blades UK at the Isle of Wight facility, assisting in the preparation and delivery of HSE compliance, conducting internal and supporting external HSE inspections and audits, and attending meetings to offer guidance on all HSE matters. You will support management at all levels by handling site compliance, incidents, and ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented within required timescales and management systems.
Additional duties include collecting, validating, reporting, and responding to HSE data; ensuring compliance with HSE legislation across site and projects; reviewing and revising documents to support the HSE Management System; collaborating closely with stakeholders on HSE matters; and continuously reviewing the company's Safe Systems of Work to drive improvement. You will also support the organization in COSHH, Risk Assessment, Walks & Talks, Incident Management, Environmental Aspects, and internal and external audits for ISO 14001, 45001, and 50001.

Experience
Minimum of 3 years in an equivalent HSE role with proven ability to implement HSE legislation effectively.

Qualifications
