About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Hydrogeologist to support water-related assessments within environmental planning and development projects. You will conduct hydrogeological impact assessments and groundwater monitoring, collect and analyse water quality and quantity data, and prepare Water Framework Directive (WFD), Groundwater Dependent Terrestrial Ecosystems (GWDTE), and risk assessments. Additionally, you will contribute to Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIARs) and regulatory submissions. This role offers the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to meaningful environmental projects.
Experience
3–5 years of hydrogeology experience in consultancy. Experience with groundwater sampling, drilling supervision, or flood risk assessments is highly desirable.
About you
Strong understanding of Irish groundwater protection guidelines and EPA standards. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality environmental assessments.
Qualifications
Degree in hydrogeology, geology, water science, or a related discipline. Full, clean Irish/EU driving licence is required.
