About the Role
The Chancery Rosewood, opening in Summer 2025, is a Rosewood Hotel Group property housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield. Featuring 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand and a variety of dining and entertainment spaces, it will serve as a stage for progressive ideas, voices, and expression.
We are seeking an Impact & Sustainability Manager to shape the transformation of Rosewood Hotel Group into a purpose-led company committed to creating a future where people and place enrich one another. This role is pivotal in translating global ambition into action by adapting the global roadmap to create bespoke strategies for The Chancery Rosewood and devising initiatives that deliver positive impact on people and place while reinforcing a distinctive brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Social Impact and Sustainability strategy of the hotel.
- Serve as Social Impact and Sustainability advisor to the Managing Director and Executive Committee.
- Support the regional Social Impact Lead by engaging external advisors to review impact programs.
- Derive KPIs and regularly measure the social impact of programs.
- Ensure all Department Heads’ action plans are cascaded into SMART goals, approved, and implemented.
- Collect and consolidate information across departments to assist with reporting and communication.
- Inspire, engage, and communicate vision and strategy internally through meetings and engagement channels.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Operations, Talent & Culture, Brand) and external advisors to develop and monitor action plans.
- Drive cross-departmental planning to align hotel goals with group ambitions.
- Coordinate implementation of the roadmap by cascading goals into actions and milestones.
- Lead associate volunteering efforts by identifying and promoting opportunities.
- Foster stakeholder buy-in through awareness and education to develop internal ownership and mobilize action.
- Analyze key metrics related to social impact and sustainability commitments and provide actionable recommendations.
- Establish partnerships with organizations, individuals, and events across departments including Engineering, Rooms, Talent & Culture, Culinary, and Food & Beverage.
- Support development of programs empowering internal and external communities.
- Explore collaboration opportunities with local and global sustainability organizations.
- Create engaging ways to inform guests and associates about sustainability and encourage simple, effective actions.
- Support each property in identifying and communicating impactful stories.
Experience
- Proven leadership in sustainability, ideally within hospitality, luxury brands, or lifestyle sectors.
- Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, ESG frameworks, and responsible business practices.

Qualifications
- Degree-qualified in sustainability, environmental science, business ethics, or a related field.
