About the Role
The Chancery Rosewood, opening in Summer 2025, is a Rosewood Hotel Group property located in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield. Featuring 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand and a variety of dining and entertainment spaces, it serves as a stage for progressive ideas, voices, and expression. We are seeking an Impact & Sustainability Manager to shape the transformation of Rosewood Hotel Group into a purpose-led company committed to creating a future where people and place enrich one another.

This role is pivotal in translating global sustainability ambitions into actionable strategies tailored for The Chancery Rosewood. You will develop bespoke social impact and sustainability strategies that align with the brand’s distinctive identity while delivering positive outcomes for people and place.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Social Impact and Sustainability strategy for the hotel.
- Serve as advisor to the Managing Director and Executive Committee on social impact and sustainability matters.
- Support the regional Social Impact Lead by engaging external advisors to review impact programs.
- Define KPIs and regularly measure the social impact of initiatives.
- Ensure all Department Heads cascade approved SMART goals aligned with the strategy.
- Collect and consolidate data across departments for reporting and communication.
- Inspire and engage internal teams through meetings and employee engagement channels.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Operations, Talent & Culture, Brand) and external advisors to develop and monitor action plans.
- Coordinate planning to align hotel goals with group ambitions.
- Drive implementation of the roadmap by cascading goals into actions and milestones.
- Lead associate volunteering efforts and promote participation.
- Foster stakeholder buy-in through awareness, education, and internal ownership.
- Analyze key metrics and provide actionable recommendations.
- Establish partnerships with organizations and individuals across departments including Engineering, Rooms, Talent & Culture, Culinary, and Food & Beverage.
- Explore collaboration opportunities with local and global sustainability organizations.
- Develop engaging ways to educate guests and associates on sustainability practices.
- Support storytelling and communication of sustainability successes at the property.

Experience
- Proven leadership in sustainability, ideally within hospitality, luxury brands, or lifestyle sectors.
- Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, ESG frameworks, and responsible business practices.

Qualifications
