About the Role
Join our award-winning apprenticeship scheme and work on some of the most iconic building projects across the UK. This scheme provides a professional route into the building services engineering industry through a fully supported training and development programme. Most of your apprenticeship will be spent working on the job, gaining hands-on experience alongside experienced staff within a team of engineers.
You will be involved in designing various building installations including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, drainage, lighting, power, controls, and lifts to deliver buildings that meet safety, sustainability, efficiency, and comfort requirements. Our work spans nearly every building sector such as commercial, healthcare, residential, and public sector.
The role includes preparation of calculations based on engineering principles, providing sustainable solutions, learning project and time management to meet deadlines, using CAD or Revit for drawings, software for mark ups and specifications, site visits, project administration, and quality assurance processes. Sustainability is central to our business, so you will also contribute to designing sustainable buildings and supporting the sustainability of our operations.

Qualifications
Essential:
- GCSE in English Language (grade 4-9/A*-C)
- GCSE in Maths (grade 4-9/A*-C)
- Any 2 A-Levels (grade E)
- A-Level Maths (grade E)
- T Level in Construction: Design, Surveying and Planning (grade Pass or above)
- BTEC Extended Diploma in an Engineering subject area (grade MPP)
- BTEC National Diploma in an Engineering subject area (grade MM, minimum Merit in Maths)
Desirable:
- A-Level Chemistry OR Physics (grade E)

Experience

This is predominantly an office-based role involving the use of various software and programmes. Once settled, you will also visit construction sites and completed buildings. You will work with multiple team members on different projects and deadlines, so strong communication and prioritisation skills are key.
Initial interviews will be conducted via Teams with a second-stage interview day held in person at our office.
