About the Role
Join our award-winning apprenticeship scheme and work on some of the most iconic building projects across the UK. This scheme provides a professional route into the industry through a fully supported training and development programme. Most of your apprenticeship will be spent working on the job, gaining hands-on experience alongside experienced staff within a team of engineers. You will be involved in designing various building installations such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning, drainage, lighting, power, controls, and lifts to deliver buildings that meet user needs.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to assist in delivering our Whole Life specialist services, supporting clients in managing their buildings at all stages. Projects range from newly built facilities to the refurbishment of historic premises across sectors including commercial, residential, healthcare, education, and leisure.

Sustainability is central to our business, so you will also engage in designing sustainable buildings and contribute to the sustainability of our operations.

This apprenticeship is a permanent opportunity and represents the first stage of your career journey with us.

Experience
This is predominantly an office-based role requiring the use of various software and programmes. You will also visit sites, including construction sites and completed buildings. You will work with multiple team members on different projects and deadlines, so strong communication and prioritisation skills are essential.

Qualifications
Essential
GCSEs:
- English Language (grade 4-9/A*-C)
- Maths (grade 4-9/A*-C)
A Levels:
- Any subject (grade C)
- Any subject (grade B)
- Maths (grade B)
T Level:
- Construction: Design, Surveying and Planning (grade Merit or above)
BTEC:
- Extended Diploma in an Engineering subject area (grade DDM - Minimum Merit in Maths)
- National Diploma in an Engineering subject area (grade D*D* - Minimum Merit in Maths)

Desirable
A Level:
- Chemistry or Physics (grade B)
