We are seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join a busy waste management and resource recovery operation. You will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a range of mobile and static plant equipment to ensure it remains safe, reliable, and operational.

This hands-on role requires strong mechanical knowledge, diagnostic skills, and experience working with hydraulic and electrical systems. You will carry out both planned and reactive maintenance, working closely with operational and engineering teams to minimise equipment downtime and maintain availability.

Experience
- Proven experience as a Mobile Plant Fitter, Plant Mechanic, Maintenance Fitter or similar.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on repair experience.
- Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Experience with hydraulic systems.
- Experience with electrical wiring, looms and connections.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy operational environment.
- Strong commitment to health and safety.

Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent qualification is desirable.
- Experience in waste management, recycling, construction or heavy industry is highly desirable.
- Experience with conveyors, shredders, balers, compactors or picking lines is advantageous.
- Experience carrying out both mechanical and electrical diagnostics is preferred.
