About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Murex Environment Consultant to design and implement an auto-scaling solution for our non-production environments. You will collaborate closely with the Murex team to build scalable, efficient, and reliable systems that meet both business and technical requirements. This role involves managing Kubernetes clusters, optimizing application server setups, supporting end-of-day (EOD) processes, and ensuring cloud cost optimization. You will also be responsible for environment preparation, rebuild, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting bottlenecks with sustainable engineering solutions. Documentation and knowledge transfer to support teams are key components of this position.

Requirements

Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Murex Environment Management
- Strong Kubernetes expertise including deployment and management of applications in Kubernetes clusters
- Knowledge of auto-scaling strategies such as HPA, VPA, and Cluster Autoscaler
- Hands-on experience with Helm, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and service discovery
- Proven experience in infrastructure engineering and environment automation or optimization solutions
- Familiarity with Murex application architecture including EOD processes, batch jobs, settings, parameters, and configurations
- Understanding of server orchestration and application server configurations in Murex environments
- Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, awk, bash, Python, and SQL
- Knowledge of scheduling tools like Control-M and Autosys
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools including Jenkins and GitLab CI
- Exposure to public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration
- Strong problem-solving skills with a creative and innovative approach to environment engineering challenges

Qualifications
- Relevant technical certifications in Kubernetes, cloud platforms, or Murex environment management are advantageous but not mandatory
- Proficiency in English at B2 Upper Intermediate level or higher

Nice to Have
- Familiarity with cloud-based auto-scaling solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with Murex C2/openconnect platforms
