About the Role
Smart Energy GB is a not-for-profit company, limited by guarantee and funded by energy suppliers. Established by the government, it supports the smart meter implementation programme by encouraging domestic and non-domestic customers to get smart meters to better manage their energy consumption. The organisation is focused on completing the roll-out of smart meters to all homes and small businesses by 2030. You may also be invited to join Board sub-committees such as the remuneration or Audit and Risk Committee. If appointed to the Audit and Risk Committee, you will attend approximately four meetings per year and contribute to its proceedings.
Additionally, you will chair two advisory sub-committees tasked with developing the Performance Management Framework for domestic and non-domestic sectors, receiving additional remuneration for this role.
