The nursery is located within the retail park on Landmere Lane, just off Wheatcroft Island on the A52 at Edwalton, near Notcutts Garden Centre.

About the Role
Join Busy Bees, the UK's leading nursery group with nearly 400 nurseries nationwide, as a Nursery Room Leader. In this leadership role, you will oversee multiple rooms and ensure educational strategies are seamlessly integrated across the centre. You will inspire and lead your team to achieve the highest standards of care and learning, fostering a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children. You will lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum, track and communicate children's progress with parents, and take on the role of Key Person for a group of children. The nursery is rated "Good" by Ofsted and features dedicated rooms for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers in a warm, eco-friendly setting with environmental features such as a living wall, plant frames, LED lighting, bike storage, and EV charging points. Free parking is available for staff.

Experience
Experience working in an early years setting is required. Supervisory experience is an advantage, ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager, or Nursery Practitioner.

Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills. Passionate about fostering children’s development and creating positive relationships with families.
Qualifications
Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
