About the Role
Join the Clean Start Team at London and Quadrant Housing Trust as an Operational Mentor within the Grounds Maintenance team. You will work alongside operatives delivering grounds maintenance services across contracted sites, including hard and soft landscaping tasks such as grass cutting, weed suppression spraying, leaf clearance, and removal of unwanted tree growth. In this role, you will lead and mentor a diverse local team on site, providing constructive feedback and actively developing team members. You will ensure customer standards and targets are met, accurately record time on site, and contribute to a positive customer experience. Your proactive approach will help improve service delivery by incorporating customer feedback. Our mission is to create clean, safe communities that residents are proud to call home.

Experience
- Relevant grounds maintenance experience
- Experience leading a team or demonstrable leadership skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a corporate environment
- Experience using a variety of equipment and hand tools
- Chipping and chainsaw experience is desirable

Qualifications
- Full driving licence (required to drive L&Q fleet vans)
- PA1 and PA6 City and Guilds qualifications are advantageous
