About the Role
We are seeking a Communications & Outreach Officer to lead the development and delivery of integrated project messaging for the PEAT+ Project, an ambitious and collaborative initiative that highlights the vital role of peatland restoration in environmental recovery as well as peace and reconciliation. This central role within the project team involves working closely with the PEAT+ Project Director and partner organisations to ensure consistent, impactful messaging across all media platforms, publications, events, and digital channels. You will raise public and stakeholder awareness of the importance of peatlands, their restoration, and the benefits they provide. This post is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). The position is fixed-term until 30 June 2029, with the possibility of renewal.
Experience
Proven experience in communications, outreach, or related roles is essential. Experience working on environmental or conservation projects is highly desirable.

Qualifications
A relevant qualification in communications, marketing, environmental science, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
