About the Role
This role is part of the ‘Hub’ PMO team within the PMO Reporting and Insights Lead function. You will work closely with Sponsor Directors and Principal Sponsors to provide timely and accurate information and insights that enable informed decision-making, timely interventions, and the potential to outperform plans.

Key responsibilities include overseeing consistent reporting frameworks across AO&CD PMO and the wider business to drive performance improvement; analysing and interpreting complex performance data and trends to support prioritisation and decision-making at Director level; acting as a critical friend to the Strategic Sponsorship model regarding Portfolio delivery performance; and ensuring Sponsorship Directors receive expert advice and information to effectively drive Portfolio delivery.

You will provide a holistic, end-to-end strategic view of Portfolio delivery performance, enabling accountability and articulating complex issues, dependencies, and relationships across multiple Programmes and Portfolios. You will be accountable for Portfolio-level trend analysis, performance modelling, and variance root cause analysis processes, including Earned Value Management techniques, to measure and forecast Portfolio performance.

Additional duties include challenging performance delivery, contributing to performance improvement strategies, driving the development and continuous improvement of Portfolio dashboards and insights, facilitating quarterly Capital Allocation Review sessions with the Executive and Directors, and acting as the central point of contact for aligning reporting processes between the Hub, Spokes, and Sponsorship Directors.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across AO&CD and the wider business to deliver robust reporting services, translate data into insights and visualisations, maintain quality management processes for project, programme, and Portfolio activities, and continuously improve ways of working through structured continuous improvement techniques.
