Power System Compliance Engineer - NESO

Flexible working arrangements available, including full time and part time.
Salary
£45,000 - £70,000 per annum, dependent on experience and capability, plus bonus based on company performance.

The Engineering Compliance Team within the Network Operability department ensures that new and existing generators connecting to the Electricity Transmission system meet grid code and connection agreement requirements. As a Power System Compliance Engineer, you will provide expert guidance to power generating companies on all aspects of Power Systems Engineering Compliance. You will review and assess performance and test data submissions throughout all phases of new infrastructure projects to ensure grid code compliance. Key responsibilities include liaising with power generator owners and manufacturers, assessing technical data and commissioning results, investigating faults causing loss of supply, developing and validating network models, conducting occasional site visits to witness compliance testing, and supporting the development and maintenance of compliance guidance and internal procedures.

Experience
Previous experience in a similar Power Systems Compliance or related engineering role is required.

Qualifications
A degree in Power Systems, Electrical Engineering, Science, Technology, or a related discipline is required.
