About the Role
Are you a proven sustainability consultant eager to join an innovative team of sustainability professionals? Join Ramboll's Sustainable Solutions team as our new Principal Sustainability Consultant and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future.

In this role, you will work on sustainability projects across various sectors within the UK and Europe. You will collaborate with experts in certifications, whole life carbon, circular economy, indoor environmental quality, and decarbonisation. You will contribute your sustainability knowledge and experience throughout all aspects of sustainable buildings.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering embodied carbon calculations, BREEAM and GLA compliant Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) at different project stages
- Delivering Circular Economy Statements and circularity strategies
- Developing decarbonisation strategies for buildings
- Supporting sustainable certification projects including BREEAM, HQM, DREAM, WELL, Fitwel, LEED
- Hosting workshops and presentations with clients, design teams, planners, and developers
- Analysing project data and information
- Contributing to internal tool development and research
- Preparing technical reports
- Supporting the training, development, and growth of junior team members
- Managing project budgets, timeframes, and deliverables to ensure high quality and profitable work

Experience
A minimum of 6 years' experience delivering sustainability projects within the Buildings sector, including design and construction phases. Proven track record in delivering projects related to certifications, Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs), circular economy, and decarbonisation.

About you
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead project meetings, liaise with clients, and convey complex technical knowledge to diverse audiences. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload, project finances, and meet deadlines. A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently. Passionate about sharing knowledge and supporting Ramboll's strategy as 'The Partner for Sustainable Change'.

Qualifications
A relevant degree in a related field. Qualified assessor status is desirable. Commitment to continuous personal and professional development.
