About the Role

Join Ramboll's Sustainable Solutions team as a Principal Sustainability Consultant and contribute to closing the gap to a sustainable future. You will work on sustainability projects across various sectors within the UK and Europe, collaborating with experts in certifications, whole life carbon, circular economy, indoor environmental quality, and decarbonisation.

Your key responsibilities will include delivering embodied carbon calculations, BREEAM and GLA compliant Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) at different project stages, developing circular economy statements and strategies, and creating decarbonisation strategies for buildings. You will support sustainable certification projects such as BREEAM, HQM, DREAM, WELL, Fitwel, and LEED, host workshops and presentations with clients and project teams, analyse project data, contribute to internal tool development and research, prepare technical reports, and support the growth of junior team members. Additionally, you will manage project budgets, timeframes, and deliverables to ensure high-quality and profitable outcomes.

Experience
- Minimum of 6 years' experience delivering sustainability projects within the Buildings sector.
- Proven track record working on projects throughout design and construction phases.
- Experience delivering projects related to certifications, Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs), circular economy, and decarbonisation.
- Experience in report writing and communicating technical knowledge to diverse audiences.
