About the Role
At WSP, you will have the opportunity to shape a career as unique as you. Join our growing, award-winning Water team as a Principal Wastewater Network Modeller and work on meaningful projects that improve wastewater networks, enhance asset performance, and support some of the UK's largest water companies. You will contribute to hydraulic modelling studies, build and interrogate network models, support feasibility studies and optioneering, prepare reports and drawings, and coordinate with clients and internal teams to foster strong relationships. You will also share knowledge, help develop the wider team, and represent WSP in industry forums where appropriate. This role offers the chance to work with industry-standard tools such as InfoWorks ICM and Causeway Flow, alongside specialist modelling platforms used across WSP. You will be part of a high-performing network of 350 water professionals across the UK, supported by our Global Water Team, with opportunities to collaborate on multidisciplinary projects. With roles available from Consultant to Associate Director, there is real opportunity for progression to develop your expertise and leadership skills while shaping the future of our modelling capability.
Experience
Extensive experience in hydraulic modelling using industry-standard software, specifically InfoWorks ICM or similar. Sound knowledge and experience in urban drainage modelling with the ability to check technical outputs of others prior to issue. Familiarity with industry-standard geographical information systems such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or MapInfo.

Qualifications
A degree in a relevant discipline such as engineering, environmental science, or geography. Chartered membership of a relevant professional institution (e.g. ICE, CIWEM) or actively working towards chartership.
