About the Role
Join The British Standards Institution (BSI), a global leader with nearly 120 years of innovation and industry leadership, as a Product Certification Auditor specializing in Built Environment and Digital Construction. In this role, you will conduct product certification assessments ensuring compliance with BSI's rigorous certification schemes and Kitemark standards. You will deliver BIM-related product assessments in accordance with the ISO 19650 framework, supporting organisations to maintain high standards of compliance and product excellence. This field-based position requires extensive travel across the UK and Ireland, including potential overnight stays. Key responsibilities include preparing assessment reports, recommending certification decisions, maintaining client accounts, leading assessment teams, coaching colleagues, and managing workloads efficiently. You will also be required to complete an extensive onboarding program to achieve Lead Assessor status and demonstrate knowledge of audit practices through standardized assessments. Experience
- Minimum of 4 years' industry experience within BIM, Built Environment, Construction or a similar sector
- Expertise in ISO 19650 and Building Information Modelling (BIM) Framework
- Previous experience in product assessment or external auditing against standards
- Knowledge of quality management system auditing practices (ISO 9001)
- Experience with PAS 2080 (Carbon Management in Infrastructure) is a major advantage
- Ability to travel frequently across the UK
