Sellers play a crucial role in delivering on Amazon's vision of offering the Earth's largest selection and lowest prices. In our mission to build a global marketplace, we enable Sellers to list and make their selection available to customers worldwide while optimizing inventory placement across multiple countries.
Within this context, the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Services on Amazon aims to transform how Sellers fulfil their EPR compliance obligations in the EU, enabling them to continue selling on Amazon. EPR is an environmental policy that holds Sellers responsible for the entire lifecycle of the products they introduce to the market, from design to end of life.
As a Product Ops Manager on the Pay on Behalf team, you will establish and manage product operations to ensure compliance reporting and payments for Sellers. This role requires collaboration with product, technology, business, legal, compliance authorities, and fees stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, implementing, and owning mechanisms to monitor seller journeys and interactions with our product to ensure delivery on metrics, goals, and team projects.
- Collaborating closely with product teams and key stakeholders to conceptualize and implement features and processes that improve seller experience and achieve business objectives.
- Continuously seeking ways to enhance product-related process efficiencies and effectiveness.
- Proactively identifying gaps or blockers in the seller experience, proposing solutions, and driving implementation across partner teams.
- Communicating updates on key strategic programs and metrics to leaders and stakeholders.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales, marketing, e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS, or related fields.
- Basic SQL knowledge or data self-sufficiency to perform day-to-day tasks.
- Proven experience driving large, cross-functional programs with strong program and project management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills, with the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems using relevant data and insights.
