Job Description
You will keep our installations running smoothly: making sure the right kit is in the right place at the right time, with the right people booked in to fit it. It is the job that turns a signed order into a finished installation, and a good co-ordinator makes the whole company work better.
You will be trained and supported. You do not need to know anything about heat pumps or solar panels on day one.
Managing materials for the pipeline of projects that are ready to install
Booking in deliveries, and sorting out any delays or shortages before they become a problem
Scheduling our installation teams onto jobs
Ordering products and components from suppliers
Keeping customers informed, so they always know what is happening and when
Looking after parts and stock in our storeroom
Co-ordinating service visits
General office administration alongside the rest of the team
What to Bring
A few years of administration or co-ordination experience. This is not an entry-level role.
Confidence with Word and Excel, and the ability to pick up new software with a bit of training
Good attention to detail. Small errors on an order can cost us serious money.
Comfortable talking to customers and suppliers, mainly on the phone and over email, but occasionally in person
Happy working on your own and as part of a team
Desirable (we can teach this)
Experience in construction, building services, trades or service delivery, juggling deliveries, schedules and site teams
Experience with stock control or purchasing
An interest in doing something practical about climate change
If you can tick most of this list but not all of it, please still apply. We would rather hear from you and talk it through than have you rule yourself out.
Flexibility and Adjustments
This role works part time. If you have school runs, a nursery pickup, a regular hospital appointment or someone at home who depends on you, tell us what you need and we will do our best to build the week around it. We are open to a job share if two people want to apply together.
Our office is fully accessible. If you need an adjustment at any stage of the process, just tell us. You do not need to explain why, and asking will not count against you.
What we Offer
£35,000 full time equivalent, paid pro rata: £16,800 at 18 hours a week, £21,000 at 22.5 hours, £28,000 at 30 hours
25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pro rata
Workplace pension
Training and support to grow into the role, and into the industry if you want to
