About the Role
Wild Cosmetics is on a mission to remove single-use plastic from the bathroom with refillable, natural, and scent-sational personal care products. As a high-growth company launched in 2020, we are one of Europe's fastest-growing start-ups. We are seeking a Quality & Sustainability Manager to own Wild's global quality agenda and lead our sustainability programme. You will ensure every product meets our standards for safety, performance, and environmental impact, embedding quality and sustainability throughout the supply chain—from raw material sourcing to final production.
Sitting at the heart of our Supply Chain team, you will be the primary contact for quality operations including supplier audits, complaint resolution, and batch release management. You will work closely with contract manufacturing partners to balance day-to-day issue resolution with long-term system building to support Wild's growth. Reporting to the Supply Chain Value Creation Lead, you will collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Commercial, and Customer Service teams to integrate quality and sustainability into all processes.
Your responsibilities will include managing the global Quality Management System (QMS), embedding ISO 22716 and market-specific requirements, qualifying and auditing suppliers, driving continuous improvement through data analysis, and championing a "right first time" and "sustainable by design" mindset. You will also develop and own the sustainability roadmap, partner with suppliers to improve packaging recyclability and reduce waste, track sustainability KPIs, and oversee B Corp recertification efforts. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Regulatory & Compliance Manager to align quality and sustainability goals with regulatory requirements.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years in quality management within personal care, cosmetics, or FMCG sectors, ideally with sustainability experience.
- Proven ability to manage both hands-on problem solving (supplier issues, batch releases, non-conformances) and strategic system building (QMS, risk registers, preventive frameworks).
- Experience leading packaging and operational sustainability initiatives.
- Skilled in using data and KPIs (e.g. CPMU, audit pass rates, OTIF) to identify issues and drive supplier performance improvements.
About you
- Passionate about quality and sustainability with a bias for action.
- Confident in building and leading a global quality and sustainability function from the ground up.
- Strong relationship builder, able to foster supplier partnerships and accountability.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth scale-up environment while maintaining a "right first time" mindset.
- Fluent in ISO 22716, GMP, and multi-market quality expectations.
- Data-driven decision maker who thrives on continuous improvement and change management.
Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of ISO 22716 and cosmetics GMP standards.
- Understanding of sustainability metrics and regulatory landscape.
- Experience managing quality risk registers, audit programmes, and corrective/preventive action frameworks.
