About the Role
Wild Cosmetics is on a mission to remove single-use plastic from the bathroom with refillable, natural, and sustainable personal care products. As a high-growth company launched in 2020, we are one of Europe's fastest-growing start-ups. We are seeking a Quality & Sustainability Manager to lead Wild's global quality agenda and sustainability programme. This role sits at the heart of our Supply Chain team, embedding quality and sustainability into every stage of the process from raw material sourcing to final production.
You will be the primary contact for quality operations including supplier audits, complaint resolution, and batch release management, while driving sustainability improvements in packaging and manufacturing. Working closely with contract manufacturing partners, you will balance day-to-day issue resolution with long-term system building to support Wild's growth. Reporting to the Supply Chain Value Creation Lead, you will collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Commercial, and Customer Service teams to ensure quality and sustainability are integral to everything we do.
Key responsibilities include managing the global Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 22716, overseeing supplier qualification and audits, driving continuous improvement through data analysis, and leading the sustainability roadmap to improve packaging recyclability, reduce waste, and track sustainability KPIs. You will also partner with regulatory teams to ensure alignment with market compliance and support our B Corp recertification.
Experience
Minimum 5 years in quality management within personal care, cosmetics, or FMCG sectors, ideally with sustainability experience. Proven expertise in ISO 22716, GMP, and multi-market quality standards. Experience leading packaging and operational sustainability initiatives and working hands-on with suppliers.
Ability to manage both operational problem-solving (supplier issues, batch releases, non-conformances) and strategic system building (QMS, risk registers, preventive frameworks). Skilled in using data and KPIs (CPMU, audit pass rates, OTIF) to drive supplier performance improvements.
About you
Passionate about quality and sustainability with a bias for action and system design. Strong relationship builder capable of fostering supplier partnerships and accountability. Confident in leading change and continuous improvement across teams. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth scale-up environment while maintaining a "right first time" mindset. Data-driven decision maker who thrives on solving complex challenges.
Qualifications
Fluency in ISO 22716 and GMP standards is essential. Relevant qualifications or certifications in quality management or sustainability are advantageous but not mandatory.
